All insurance claims will be filed by costumer. $300 Limit on lost packages.

Video Recording of Scrap Gold:
The customers package will be video recorded as a record of opening the sealed package from FedEx. The contents will be separated and tested for gold content. Gold Tree will weigh and evaluate the contents and then will issue a “Gold Report”. Customer agrees that Gold Tree's video and the “Gold Report” as the official inventory of items sent. Non gold items can not be returned. Non gold items have no scrap gold value and will be discarded.

Payment and “Voice Confirmation”:
“Voice Confirmation” is a digital recording of your acceptance of the settlement from Gold Tree. Gold Tree will call you within 24 hours of receiving your gold scrap (excluding weekends and holidays). After receiving your acceptance by “Voice Confirmation” your payment will be sent U.S. Priority mail overnight at no cost to you, or sent to your PayPal account. This confirmation is final and you agree to the settlement payment.

“Confirmation by Email”: Gold Tree will send your settlement quote to the email you stated on the submit form. Your prompt reply will be recorded as your agreement for your settlement and your payment will be sent U.S. Priority mail at no cost to you, or sent to your PayPal account. This confirmation is final and you agree to the settlement payment.

Alternate Payment method can be paid to your Paypal account after acceptance by “Voice Confirmation” or “Confirmation by Email”. The payment will be made to the stated PayPal email within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) from your confirmed acceptance. Any PayPal cost will be issued by PayPal and not by Gold Tree. This confirmation is final and you agree to the settlement payment.

Payment will be sent automatically after 48 hours of receiving your gold. If no “Confirmation” is established during the 48 hour period, you will have 7 days from the time Gold Tree writes your check to return the check if not satisfied with your payment settlement. If the settlement check is not returned by the 7th day, you agree the settlement is final.

Refused Offer:
Any refused settlements will be shipped by U.S. mail and insured for the “settlement” value up to $300 limit. Refused settlements will be paid C.O.D. by the customer for the amount of the FedEx overnight shipping to Gold Tree Online and the postage and insurance for the returned items. Any package returned or not accepted will become the property of Gold Tree and all claims will be final.

Choice of Law, Waiver, and Claims:
These terms and conditions, and all Gold Tree's transactions, will be governed by the laws of South Carolina without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Gold Tree's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision. If any of these terms and conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to Gold Tree or otherwise with Gold Tree must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred. Any such claim or cause of action must be filed in South Carolina. Gold Tree will be entitled to reimbursement for any and all costs incurred by it in defending any civil action filed or attempted to be filed in any jurisdiction outside of the state of South Carolina, including but not limited to, attorney's fees incurred by Gold Tree.
